Role Overview
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, Anypoint Studio, API-led connectivity, and Mule 4, along with a good understanding of enterprise application integration.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
Develop APIs and integration flows using Mule 4 and Anypoint Studio.
Implement API-led connectivity and reusable integration components.
Develop and consume REST and SOAP APIs.
Work with DataWeave 2.0 for data transformation and mapping.
Configure and manage APIs using Anypoint API Manager.
Implement API policies, security, authentication, authorization, and access controls.
Integrate MuleSoft with enterprise applications, databases, SaaS platforms, and third-party systems.
Develop connectors and integrations using HTTP, Database, SFTP, JMS, Salesforce, and other relevant connectors.
Implement error handling, exception strategies, logging, and monitoring.
Write unit and integration tests using MUnit.
Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
Optimize integration flows for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Work with CI/CD pipelines for automated build and deployment.
Collaborate with DevOps teams for deployment and environment management.
Prepare technical documentation, API specifications, and integration design documents.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, estimation, reviews, and retrospectives.
Mandatory Skills
4–6 years of hands-on MuleSoft development experience.
Strong experience with Mule 4 and Anypoint Studio.
Strong knowledge of DataWeave 2.0.
Experience developing and integrating REST/SOAP APIs.
Strong understanding of API-led connectivity and integration patterns.
Hands-on experience with Anypoint API Manager.
Experience with MuleSoft connectors such as HTTP, Database, SFTP, JMS, and Salesforce.
Experience with MUnit and automated testing.
Understanding of API security concepts including OAuth 2.0, client ID/secret, JWT, and basic authentication.
Experience with Git and CI/CD practices.
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
Good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodology.
